Dr. Fara Bender
Hi everyone, I’m Dr. Fara Bender! I knew from a young age growing up on Long Island, New York that I was going to be someone who would work in health care. I had the great fortune to shadow a wonderful local Pediatrician during High School. That is what sealed the deal for me. I knew that I would be dedicating my career to health care, and it felt right.
While attending New York State University at Albany where I graduated Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree of Science in Biology, I had the opportunity to complete a rotation at St Peters Hospital Dental Clinic. It was during that time I realized my true calling was to become a Pediatric Dentist, I went on to earn my Dental Degree at the Prestigious Ivy League University of Pennsylvania School. South Florida was calling me. I spent the next year at Mount Sinai Hospital completing a year of General Practice Residency in General Dentistry. Went on to my Pediatric Dental Residency at Miami Children’s Hospital and completed it at Florida Shands Hospital in Gainesville in 2001 (Go Gators). I was now ready to find a dental home for me and what would be my growing family.
I opened my practice in Lake Worth in 2002, With the support of my amazing husband Stephen who I have now been married to for twenty-five years. We set out to build a family and a dental practice. This would be an adventure that would prove to be rich and beautiful as we welcomed our first child Ellie who is now at UF in Gainesville, our first son Andrew who is about to begin his junior year at FIU and our youngest son Harris who is attending Park Vista High School. They are the loves of my life and the joy in my heart.
I have been so blessed over these years to love and contribute back to the community I live in. Our family has built a beautiful life. Doing the best for my patients so they can grow up to have good health and not be afraid to go to the dentist is such a rewarding and satisfying feeling. My philosophy has always been “We treat Kids not Just Teeth.

Hi everyone, I'm Stephen! I was raised on Long Island and moved to South Florida in 1994. Prior to working in dentistry, I sold small kitchen appliances to large retailers all over the country. Since we opened in 2002, I have been working here and love working with the children. My role has been to help grow this practice from the ground up, and we have thrived in the last 20 years and we are so very proud of where we are today. Dr. Bender and I have 3 amazing children, and have been married for the last 24 years and still growing every day. We support the Leukemia/Lymphoma society, Breast Cancer Awareness, and ALS/Alzheimer's organizations. In my spare time, I enjoy golfing and spending time with my family.

Hey everyone, my name is Jessenia but people know me by Jess! I was born and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida. I have more than 10 years of dental experience and have been a part of the Bender crew since 2017. I started here as a front desk administrator and have since been given the opportunity to manage the practice alongside Dr. Bender. I have a pretty impressive memory, so chances are I'd have remembered your name by now. I take pride in going above and beyond for every single family I encounter. In my spare time, I enjoy staying active, going to the gym, skating, cooking, shopping, organizing, and spending time with my daughter. I love ALL things crime and my ultimate dream would be to become a detective!

Hello, my name is Andrea, I am originally from Boston, and I love my New England sports teams. Football Sundays are what I look forward to and yes, I will lose my voice from screaming. A goal of mine is to always make a difference, that first impression is always the most important one. Getting the opportunity to meet new people on a daily basis helps me grow into a better person. I am the proud mom of 3 young men who have grown up here and on their own, my husband is my best friend who makes me laugh every day. I love making memories with them by doing such things as going to concerts, a bit of thrifting, and eating adventures. Stepping out of my comfort zone 4 years ago entering the dental field has been a wonderful educational step, and I have learned so much from the team here at Little Teeth Big Smiles. As a mother, I understand how important it is for children to have healthy teeth and I admire how my philosophy aligns with Dr. Bender's.
